Fox Trail Memory Care Living Partners with Dementia Care Specialist, Vivian Green Korner, to Create Community-Based Alzheimer's Support Group

Partnership will provide support, guidance and resources to family members and caregivers of individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia
Fox Trail Memory Care Living, a specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia care home network subsidiary of Fox Trail Senior Living, is launching a free, monthly support group for family members, caregivers and friends of individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The new support group will be facilitated by certified Dementia Care Specialist, Vivian Green Korner MA, CDP - a long-standing advocate for the dementia community.
Green Korner has extensive clinical experience in hospital, residential and community-based settings. She has a long-standing affiliation with the Alzheimer’s Association as a facilitator of caregiver support groups and trains health professionals to render effective dementia care.
“Providing a setting where people can share their challenges and learn new coping skills is invaluable for caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s and dementia,” shared Fox Trail Memory Care Living Managing Partner, Michael Eisele. Our goal is to continue to create support groups in communities that neighbor our homes.”
The first group meeting will be held on Thursday, April 25 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Mahwah Public Library, located at 100 Ridge Road, Mahwah, NJ. Refreshments will be served.
Future meetings will be held at the library on the 4th Thursday of each month at 6 p.m.
